Teacher Entrepreneurs #1: From teaching in rural Japan to founding a company providing online fitness programs

This is the first in an occasional series of podcasts I want to do on one of my favorite topics ‘teacher entrepreneurs’. Many teachers are looking to start an entrepreneurial endeavor as a ‘side hustle’ and some to do it full time. We hear the stories of teachers who are doing just that!

Andy Fossett has had an interesting entrepreneurial journey. He moved to Japan to teach in a rural school where he was the only foreigner. He transitioned to founding GMB – a company providing online fitness training. They also run in-person workshops around the world.
