Finally! Google Calendar has a Scheduler

New to Google Calendar…finally! Google Calendar Appointment Scheduler. Google Calendar has taken all the best features of online schedulers and incorporated them into this new feature. The best part? It is completely free.

To set up, select “Appointment Schedule” when creating a new event.

This opens up a new side pane with a plethora of options to customize your scheduler including setting different times of day for each day of the week, advanced time/notice minimums, buffer time between appointments, and even the duration of each slot.

Click next and now you can collect information with customized information such as the name and description of your schedule, customizable questions that will be asked when someone schedules an appointment (such as “please tell me a little bit about what you’d like to discuss at our meeting”), and set notifications/reminders about the meeting to guests.

Once you’ve set up your Appointment Scheduler, grab the link to the schedule and hyperlink it to your signature in your Gmail account. This way someone can schedule an appointment with you straight from an email.

Google Appointment Scheduler is a game changer for those who have been paying a premium for many of the options Google is allowing at no cost. Get into your calendar and check it out.
