Meet the Team
AppsEvents consists of a core team which works remotely across the world. A number of world class trainers with a history of innovation in the classroom make up the rest of the team at Google for Education summits, bootcamps and cloud camps. We always try to accomodate requests for specific Google trainers at your event – just let us know. Find out more about everybody below.
Dan has been involved in the Google for Education community since 2006. He has trained educators across the globe from El Salvador to Vietnam.
Allison MollicaUSA DIRECTOR
Allison has a masters degree in educational technology and is a certified Digital Learning Specialist, Business Teacher & Library Media Specialist, as well as a Google Certified Trainer, Innovator, Educator & Administrator.
James SayerASIA DIRECTOR
Aside from managing events in Asia, James is the Head of Mathematics and IT Coordinator for Patumwan Demonstration School's international program in Bangkok.
Veronika HlavenovaGLOBAL EVENT MANAGER
Veronika manages logistics for events worldwide as well as mainland European events. She holds a masters degree in Economics.
Ben RouseUK DIRECTOR
Ben is a Design Sprint Facilitator and advocate for design thinking in education. He has a masters degree in leading innovation and change in Education.
Daniela SilvaLATIN AMERICA DIRECTOR
Daniela is based in Lima, Peru and is passionate about finding innovative avenues to maximize individual's capacity through professional learning.
Guto AaronUK EVENTS MANAGER
Guto is an experienced primary school teacher and is passionate about sharing his experience through his work as a trainer across the UK and Europe.
Guen is a computer engineering graduate. She looks after logistics and administration for AppsEvents including registrations.
Richard AdekeyeAFRICA EVENTS MANAGER
Richard is based between Europe and West Africa and worked the last 20 years on EU funded projects, Development and Education projects across Africa.
Jane is a Google for Education Certified Trainer and works on promotion, managing both the AppsEvents monthly newsletter and blog.
Neil is the newest starter on the AppsEvents team! He's excited to learn more about G Suite for Education.
Rowland has been an educator for over thirty years in both public and private schools. He is currently Executive Director of the (TICAL).
John is the Head of Education and Media Technology at the International School of Luxembourg. He is an Apple Distinguished Educator and a Google Certified Trainer.
Sarah is an MYP Design Technology teacher at the International School of Amsterdam. Her style of presentation and sessions reflect her passion for student directed learning.
Kimberly House has been a primary school educator for 20 years, serving the 12 years as a Technology Integration Specialist at the Bavarian International School in Munich, Germany. She is a Google for Edu Certified Trainer and an Apple Distinguished Educator.
Dan is passionately committed to the cause of education and the promotion of effective teaching and learning in schools. A regular speaker at conferences around the UK, Europe and Africa, he is known for his determined focus on evidence-based practice in educational technology.
Dan is a Google for Education Certified Trainer and the Lead Teacher of Library & Technology at Qatar Academy - Doha. He is passionate about using technology to transform learning and developing 21C skills in students.
Bogdan is passionate about science, gamification and IT integration. Working smarter is the way to go - this is his motto! He is a big fan of self-directed learning and hands-on activities.
Lee is currently Head of Technology Integration at SISB and also works as a part time EdTech consultant in International Schools within the APAC region.
Lawrence is the creator of justaguytryingtomakeit.com- an inspirational social enterprise project that works with disengaged students.
Jon Neale has been a passionate advocate of Google tools for a number of years. He now looks after technology for learning at Halcyon International School, London.
Rob is a Google Certified Trainer and the Assistant Director at Young Hoon Elementary School in Seoul, South Korea. Over the past 6 years Rob has become a regular speaker and trainer around Asia in partnership with AppsEvents. Rob is always excited to share what he knows about Edtech to help teachers maximize their instruction time in the classroom and enjoy using tech with their students.
Sethi De Clercq
Sethi is passionate about technology integration and how this impacts education and student learning. He is a Google for Education Certified Trainer, Google Innovator and Computing Subject leader. He loves training in-person at numerous events and online through his YouTube Channel with tips, tricks and tutorials.
