What is a Bootcamp?

Google offers a series of certifications for educators, starting with Google Educator Level 1 and 2, then moving on to Google Certified Trainer, Google Certified Innovator, and Google Certified Coach.

A ‘bootcamp’ is a certification preparation training with a highly qualified trainer to assist teachers in becoming proficient in the use of Google Workspace tools in the classroom.

Everything on the course is focused to make sure that attendees fly through Google’s Educator Exams. The program is engaging and a lot of fun as well!

The bootcamp is delivered through Google Classroom and Google Meet. There are a total of 6 sessions of up to 90 mins each. Training days are every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and run for 2 weeks from the start date or customized according to your needs. All sessions are recorded in the event attendees are unable to attend any sessions live.

There is also an online support forum that attendees can jump into at any time to get help.

We aim to capture the best of in-person training – and deliver it online. We have a maximum ratio of 10:1 students to the facilitator, which allows for great collaboration and networking opportunities.

All bootcamp attendees will be provided with a voucher to take the exam for FREE and exams are taken independently after the course. Attendees may also opt to take the certification exam at a later date.

Schools can opt for a single rate to host for district staff only or a per person rate to host externally (public event with outside registration). When schools opt to host a smaller number of their own staff and open the event up to the public, Appsevents would create this as a public event and promote and handle all customer registrations and communications for outside delegates.
