AELearningLab is now offering the ISTE Certification via a completely online program to schools in Europe and the Middle East.
ISTE Certification is a competency-based, vendor-neutral teacher certification based on the ISTE Standards for Educators. ISTE is focused on pedagogy, not tools. It’s about what you do with the tech to transform learning and improve student outcomes.
AELearningLab is a subsidiary of AppsEvents and we are a global team producing bespoke PD for schools worldwide. We put extensive work into making our courses fun and engaging, and develop and constantly refine our curriculum so attendees always get the latest best practice.
There are 2 steps to Becoming ISTE certified:
1. Online Learning
You will undertake 5 x 2 hour sessions fully synchronous online training. Normally sessions are spread across 5 weeks but we can customise this depending on your requirements. In between the sessions there will be tasks to complete before the next session.
2. Curation and Submission of portfolio
After the online training is complete you will assemble a portfolio of artifacts that meet the criteria required by ISTE. We support and guide you through the entire process with regular check ins. This part takes up to six months but can often be done quicker.
